Professional committees and working groups
Our engineers and experts are active members of the pre-eminent professional bodies in the field of geotechnical engineering, and of the working groups that they animate:
- V. BERNHARDT was the President of the CFMS from 2016 to 2020, and is currently:
- Representative of TERRASOL as a collective member
- Member of ISSMGE Board Level Committee “CAPG” (Corporate Associate Presidential Group)
- H. LE BISSONNAIS has Vice-President of the Technical Committee from 2014 to 2016
- F. CUIRA is the President of the Scientific and Technical Committee (since 2020).
- A. LOPES is the President of the CFMS Young Members group (since 2020).
- H. LE BISSONNAIS, A. BEAUSSIER and M. CAHN participate in the working group about the swelling of clays.
- F. CUIRA is the Chairman of the working group dedicated to geotechnical numerical modeling.
- J. MARLINGE is a member of the working group dedicated to water drawdown.
- A. GUILLOUX has been a member since the 1970’s, and was the President of CFMS from 2006 to 2010.

- working group n°43 : « Guide d’application au domaine des ouvrages souterrains de la norme NF P 94-500 relative aux missions d’ingénierie géotechnique »
- B. MADINIER is member of:
- working group n°24 : « Les reconnaissances géologiques, hydrogéologiques et géotechniques nécessaires à la conception des ouvrages souterrains » since 2015

- V. BERNHARDT has been an elected member of the Geotechnical Board of Syntec since 2014.
- TERRASOL is Corporate Associate of ISSMGE.
- V. BERNHARDT represents TERRASOL at ISSMGE.
- A. BERGERE represents TERRASOL at CFBR.
- S. BURLON is chair for this project financed by the Association COST and gathering about 25 countries (2015-2019).
